Construction - Improvement of Roads in Stavromenos Area of Taurus district in the Municipality of Moschato - Tavros (project

Sidewalks, pavements and lighting were completely rebuilt in the area surrounded by the streets Konstantinoupoleos, Macedonias, Eirinis and Nestoros (those streets were not included in the project). No widenings were made on the sidewalks so that the the obstacle-free width reach at least 1.50m (as it is obligatory by the Greek legislation), but it was preferred that this road space would continue be used for car parking. The sidewalks are completely inappropriate and dangerous on the Aiantos Road, an artery seved by a bus line. Blind people facilities are not installed on most sidewalks. The project cannot be used by people with disabilities.
